Media center concept isn’t new, but, in the last time its getting more important than before. XBMC is media center, which can be installed in almost all platforms, even in first Xbox. Main menu offers 6 main options, and discovers you can call section for playing video, music or picture files with only one click. There is also, Weather section, which shows weather prognoses from Weather.com service, and Scripts section. XBMC supports python scripts. To reproduce files you must add them in Source list, so program could know that they exist. Program supports all known formats – even can play files compressed in RAR or ZIP archives. Also program have option to download information from CDDB for audio files, and from IMDB for movies.
